And please feel free to comment back with your own "Good Words, Good Thoughts and Good Deeds".This article is about the biased form of communication. I hope you all have some opportunities to enjoy the summer with your family and friends. Good Deeds – my desire is to discover how I can add the most value to non-profit or educational endeavors going forward. My interests span across locally-focused efforts to clean up the Puget Sound ( ) organizations that my friends are deeply involved with where I can help like Kidstown International ( ) non-profits that impact others around the world like the Maasai Assocations ( ) educational endeavors like the Association of Washington State Principals ( ) and, teaching, coaching and/or mentoring others at places like University of Washington ( ).Good Words – my goal is to read 12-15 books and share those learnings my plan is to connect with as many people important in my life as possible – whether through words spoken face-to-face, over the phone, via email or other means.Good Thoughts – my hope is to share not only my own good thoughts, but also those of others through my face-to-face interactions, reading books, participating in community service projects, etc. ![]() ![]() My hope during sabbatical is to greatly expand the number of posts I create this summer – this being my first. I won’t refer to “Bohemian Rhapsody” in every post, but I’ll try to consider the following as I share information with you all: What advice will I give him? What have I shared with him so far? What did my parents share with me before I left for college? What did I wish my parents had shared with me? What other advice did I wish I had listened to from other friends and family over the years? What did I wish I had shared when the boys were younger that I need to share now? I’m in the middle of one of them right now – a sabbatical every five years. My original goal of posting stories about “Lessons Learned for my Sons” was: Since that screening, I’ve watched the movie another 10-12 times as I’ve traveled around the US. If you haven’t had a chance to watch “Bohemian Rhapsody” yet, rent/stream/borrow/buy it and take two hours to enjoy it thoroughly. I’m grateful to my employer, Pariveda Solutions, for the many different opportunities presented to me in my nearly six years there. I’ll be discussing one of those opportunities in another paragraph or two. But another huge benefit is celebrating the collaboration of our local teams’ successes on a quarterly basis. Our celebration event, late last year, was a private screening of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The music was amazing, the story was enjoyable and the interactions among the band and their followers was highly entertaining.
